Go girl, it's your birthday!!

I had a great birthday! I celebrated with my girls and my guy? Not sure what he is as of yet but I did....
Friday night, I went to a spot out in Long Island -Dunn's River Lounge and had a couple of drinks as I swayed to the reggae music. Saturday, I went to the screening of a Haitian movie "We love you Anne" at the Double Tree in Queens--near the airport. It's a squeal to "I love you Anne." The movie is based on Anne but for me the star of the movie(s) is the father- Tonton Bicha. He is hilarious! Every Haitian female or any female can relate to what the film is about. Tonton Bicha does not play with his only daughter Anne. He’s raising her the old-fashioned way and does not allow her to have any interaction with the opposite sex. But one day, while shopping, Anne meets Don Kato, a singer with an unconventional look and life. The Sequel picks up from there and it was good.
Unfortunately, I went by myself but it was a good movie. No words can express the pride I felt as I walked the red carpet for a Haitian film. *We're moving on up...Sherman Hemsley dance*   Ha! *Watch my feet!* <-southern dance song where rapid complicated foot dances take place. Check it out fun song here, http://youtu.be/HCZ-nJ7XdmE, cracks me up.
After the movie; I somehow convinced my, boobie, cousin to come out and go dancing. Yeaaaaa, **pelvic thrust.* We went to Magnet a lounge literally a few blocks from my house and grooved the night away!
Sunday, I went to brunch with all my closest friends and had a day filled with love, laughter, shenanigans, and great-great Haitian food. Yes, we went back to La Caye. It's just sooo cool in there!
The next weekend, I was with my dude?...out to dinner in park slope and we just chilled it was all good.

***The weird question mark placements are indeed correct. Shrug.
