It's been a while...
Hey ya'll,
It"s been a while...I have been a busy bee these past few months, got pretty darn sick and I'm back in school. Please excuse the absence. Not sure if I should catch you up or just dive in head first into current thoughts. Comprise! Here are sum key points.
Long story short...Got a pretty bad version of vertigo and a sinus attack. Yes, attack--it was horrible. the inability to breathe is the worse feeling on earth. The runner up is nausea, and yes ladies and gentleman, I had both! "At the Same Damn Time!!!"
Anyhoo, I'm better now and in the midst of deciding if surgery is a route I want to take. Yea, man. Decisions....decisions.
My summer was pretty awesome. I can not complain (aside of the sickness--but that was late summer.). I had the opportunity to visit Long Beach multiple times and even celebrated my birthday there. I had an awesome b-day, went out the night before and danced all night long; reigning my birthday in with a bang, twist and shout. Then the next day packed a lunch and spent the day at the beach with my girls. A week after I gathered my friends and family and we went to a "beer garden/outside restaurant" kinda of space. It was very nice--very grown up...lol. Everyone I wanted/needed with me at the time was there. Shrug, well not everyone --but mostly. It is what, it is...sigh. Which leads me to a topic I wanted to discuss... "Can we truly remain friends after one of us gets married and the other remains single? Or is it something else?" Stay tuned....
Back to my summer....I had family come visit, & even went to camp! Yes, I went to camp, It was a reunion for the alumni of Camp Tengawitha! My aunt was once an amazing camp counselor! The campers loved her so much that they allowed me to come with her. Small detail...I have never been to camp and I was stoked. Camp Tengawitha's alumni welcomed me as their own. Thank you, Camp Tengawitha! You also made my Dirty Dancing dreams by come true. If you don't already know; I LOVE DIRTY DANCING. It is in my top five movies, as a matter of fact it's #1. We were @ Camp Cayuga in the Poconos and it was just like the the Kellerman's Resort. *see pics below* I had the best time of my life, and I never felt that way before...hahahaha. So corny I know. But it was truly an awesome time.
Then of course summer filled activities, bbq's, late night parties, outdoor concert (Ledisi) and outdoor movie (St. Elmo Fire--another of the "Top 5.") It was indeed a great summer.
I even tried something new....Hold tight for that one.
