My Germaphobia on OVERDRIVE.
Did you catch the two part episodes of "Body of Proof." Last night was the second part and it had me cringing. Omg! The plot is about a man who decided that the world has become to overpopulated. He has decided that he will be the one who will do something about it???? Psycho! He was a bio-chemistry major and applied to the W.H.O (Worlds Health Organization) ends up a interning there. Where his given the opportunity to steal a unknown virus comparable to e-coli, yet worse. He begins to spread the disease and the team can't figure out what is going on. It causes city-wide outbreak of the unknown virus. The C.D.C (Center of Controlled Disease) is called in and they work on, not only curing this thing, but getting the culprit. They eventually get the guy and find how he is spreading the disease! Here is where my hee-bee-gee-bee's kick in, this lunatic is slicing up his hand with a razor and sliding his hand over the bus hand rails and poles. Innocent commuters, holding on to poles because there weren't any seats or just to keep their balance, were getting contaminated. They caught him just as he was about to enter a train station. Over a hundred people died in the two part episodes. Aside from the fact that I was quite entertained...I was scared shit less! I'm thinking of carrying around a supply of latex gloves with me to hold on to the pole. This episode or rather episodes should of never aired. As my mother always says, "These kind of shows/movies give people ideas!" Never again will I be annoyed at another commuter because they are using a tissue to hold onto the pole. Well, I'll try!
After hearing this, I did not touch a single rail on the train! N.A
ReplyDeleteScarreeeeee!!! My worst fear (one of them, anyway) come to life. Why do they give crazies more ideas?!? I watched this episode too and was gagging when I saw the nut rubbing his bloody hands on the rails-how many times a day do we touch stuff and not think twice. Not mad at the gloves idea anymore!
